Course Highlights

The Bachelor of Education Program in Early Childhood Education is the identity program of Suan Dusit University. The objective is to produce professional teachers who are capable of combining innovations in early childhood education to effectively apply them in education management and child development. It is a curriculum within the framework of professional qualification and teacher standards, emphasizing personality strengths, language, and the use of technology for learning. The curriculum focuses on giving students practical knowledge of what they do, connecting classroom activities to action. There are activities to strengthen early childhood teachers, activities to open the world of early childhood education, get to know the children, know the teachers, know the schools for early childhood. La-or uthit Demonstration School is used as a place to practice important experiences in preparing for future professional early childhood teachers.

Portfolio

1. Applicants are expected to have completed a high school diploma or equivalent from an educational institution. which the Ministry of Education has accreditation

2. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 5 semesters not less than 2.00.

3. Applicants must have appropriate characteristics and personalities. and does not hinder the teaching profession

4. Applicants must present a portfolio showing their intention to work in the field of education, e.g. expert early childhood teachers. English or academic scholars or talents in art, music, various inventions, etc.

Quota

1. Applicants are expected to have completed a high school diploma or equivalent from an institution accredited by the Ministry of Education.

2. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 5 or 6 semesters not less than 2.50.

3. Applicants must not have a serious contagious disease or disorder that hinders their studies.

4. Applicants must be students residing in the area or district.

5. Applicants must submit a form indicating their intention to study/work in early childhood education. including the purpose of life (Write as an essay, the length is not more than 2 pages of A4 paper. Applicants may type or write.)

6. Applicants must be students doing various volunteer activities outside the school. which must be certified by an official agency

7. Applicants must be students with special abilities in various fields that are useful for their careers such as singing, art, music or foreign languages, etc. (Tested on the day of the interview).

8. Applicants must be students who perform various volunteer activities outside the school. which must be certified by an official agency

9. Applicants must be considered by the interview committee.

Admission

1. Applicants must be high school graduates. or equivalent from an educational institution accredited by the Ministry of Education

2. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.75.

3. Applicants must have the following weight ratios:

– GAT 30 percent

– Common English subjects 30%

– PAT 5 40 percent

4. The interview is considered based on having suitable characteristics and personality, which the applicant must not hinder the teaching profession.
