Course Highlight

The goal is to produce graduates with professional knowledge and skills as well as moral, ethical, and professional attitudes in the field of home economics. Learners will be aware of the importance of preserving and disseminating traditional knowledge as well as Thai arts and culture. Graduates are able to apply their knowledge in practical work for personal and professional development at the end of the course. They will have pleasant personalities, be adaptable and cooperative, and possess strong communication and analytical skills. as well as management.

Qualifications of the learner

1. Applicants must have graduated from high school or have completed an equivalent education.

2. Applicants must be free of any serious contagious disease or abnormality that would make it difficult for them to continue their education.

3. Applicants must follow Suan Dusit University’s regulations for bachelor’s degree management (B.E. 2016) and the Office of the Higher Education Commission’s standard criteria (OHEC)

The following are some of the career options:

1. Work as a freelance home economist

2. Work as Home economics entrepreneurs

3. Work as officials from the public and private sectors, such as urban home economics developers, researchers, and product developers

4. Educator in home economics (If they completed the teaching profession curriculum)

Portfolio

1. Applicants should expect to receive graduates from the following educational institutions that have been accredited by the Ministry of Education:

– A general high school diploma or its equivalent, or

– A vocational certificate (vocational certificate) in a related field

2. Applicants must possess unique abilities, which they must demonstrate in the Portfolio form as follows:

– Awards in home economics or related fields (national level and above) or/and

 – Certificate or certificate in home economics or related fields or/and

 – Outstanding experience in home economics or related fields

3. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 over the course of five semesters.

4. Applicants must not be infected with a serious contagious illness. or have abnormalities that make it difficult to complete the study They must also have a medical certificate stating that they do not show any signs of illness.

5. Applicants must participate in an interview (under normal conditions) to assess their personality, attitude, and performance. pertaining to domestic economics

Note: Applicants must have a diploma or equivalent that can be compared to transfer credits or courses in accordance with University regulations.

Quota

1. Applicants must have graduated from educational institutions accredited by the Ministry of Education as follows:

– General high school level or equivalent, or

– Diploma level (Vocational Certificate) in related fields

2. Applicants must be domiciled in the Central Region or have educational records as follows:

High school level or equivalent within the central region

3. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 5 or 6 semesters of not less than 2.00.

4. Applicants must not have a serious contagious disease. or have abnormalities that interfere with the study (Hepatitis A, Anti-HAV IgM, and Tuberculosis)

5. Applicants must take an interview (in normal circumstances) as follows:

Note: Applicants must hold a Diploma or equivalent or Diploma which can be equivalent to transfer credits or courses in accordance with the University’s regulations.

Admission

1. Applicants must have graduated from educational institutions accredited by the Ministry of Education as follows:

– General high school level or equivalent or

– Vocational certificate level (vocational certificate) in the field of study

relevant

2. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 6 semesters not less than 2.00.

3. The weight ratio is as follows:

 – GPAX (30 percent)

 – GAT (45 percent)

 – PAT 1 (15 percent)

 – PAT 2 (10 percent)

4. Applicants must not have a serious contagious disease or a disorder that interferes with the study such as Tuberculosis and hepatitis A, which must be confirmed with a medical certificate.
