Cosmetics Science Course in 2022

Abbreviation: B.Sc. (Cosmetic Science)

Total credits: 124 credits

Conditions: Accepting Thai students and international students who can speak, listen, read and write in Thai.

Course Objectives

The goal is to produce graduates with knowledge and expertise in cosmetic science who can integrate the science and art of blending and developing cosmetics in order to obtain cosmetic products that are safe and of international quality. Students will be a good personalities, responsibility, integrity, ethics, and code of conduct. They can be effectively applied in their professional practice.

Professions that can be pursued after graduation are as follows:

– Students are able to become developers of cosmetic products in the public and private sectors.

– Students can become scientists who work in the quality control of cosmetic products.

– Students can be sales representatives for raw materials, tools, and cosmetic products.

– Students can be self-employed or entrepreneurs cosmetics entrepreneurs.

Portfolio

1. Applicants are expected to have completed upper secondary education from an institution accredited by the Ministry of Education, which is a subject group for learning Science, Mathematics, and Foreign Languages.

2. Applicants can be international students who have completed high school education in science equivalent. They must be able to communicate and write in Thai.

3. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 5 semesters not less than 2.50.

4. Applicants must have a portfolio containing academic results of at least 4 semesters.

5. Applicants must have special abilities. For example, doing volunteer activities and having to tell the reason why you choose to study cosmetic science (send portfolio to cosmetic.suandusit@gmail.com).

6. Applicants must take an interview (online form).

7. Applicants must not be visually impaired, vision, hearing, speaking. and communication

8. Applicants must not have severe psychiatric problems such as psychosis. Neurosis or personality disorder

9. Applicants must not have a serious contagious disease that obstructs future education and professional practice.

Quota

4. The weight ratio is as follows:

– GPAX 10%

– GAT 20%

– PAT 1 20%

– PAT 2 20%

– General subjects, Chemistry 20%

– General subjects, biology 10%

5. Applicants must not have severe psychiatric problems such as psychosis. Neurosis or personality disorder.

6. Applicants must not have a serious contagious disease that obstructs future education and professional practice.

Admission

1. Applicants are expected to have completed high school education from an educational institution accredited by the Ministry of Education with a minimum of 14 credits in the Science subject area while the subject Mathematics learning requires a minimum of 9 credits.

2. For foreign language learning subject groups, applicants must not be less than 6 credits.

3. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.50.

4. The weight ratio is as follows:

– GPAX 10%

– GAT 20 percent

– PAT 1 20%

– PAT 2 20%

– General subjects, Chemistry 20%

– General Biology 10%

5. Applicants must not have severe psychiatric problems such as psychosis. Neurosis or personality disorder.

6. Applicants must not have a serious contagious disease that obstructs future education and professional practice.
