According to Suan Dusit University’s statement in 2016, this logo was utilized. The logo’s overall form is an oval made up of two overlapping ovals. The outside oval is gold-painted. There is a text in Thai that says “มหาวิทยาลัยสวนดุสิต” in white. The rest of the section, however, is written in English and says “SUAN DUSIT UNIVERSITY” in white, using the SP Suan Dusit typeface, with the two languages divided by bougainvillea and crocus flowers. The backdrop of the inner oval is turquoise blue. The aqua blue tint in the inner oval is also the color of the university. The center sign is a Thai consonant, abbreviated “มสด”, written in white. The logo represents prosperity and the feeling of contemporary communication. The Bougainvillea and crocus flowers are symbols of Suan Dusit University, representing the flourishing of outstanding arts and sciences. The symbols “มสด” and “SDU” that are related to each other mean that they are bound together as one.
